Bas Nepal's main thematic work is good governance, social accountability. Raise your voice against corruption, work for the establishment of good governance in the society, nation, increase public awareness against corruption, establish citizens' access to public services, create public opinion against corruption and develop zero tolerance, take initiatives to establish a corruption-free advanced society, throughout the country. BAS Nepal is conducting civil campaign against corruption through the organization's branches, sub-branches, units, committees, and support groups under this subject. BAS Nepal is doing the work of developing and promoting the institutions of good governance and social accountability, institutionalizing the good governance process by promoting people's participation, transparency, accountability and the right to information, aiming to make public services and facilities qualitative and effective, advocating communication to sustain the ethical system. It is expected that the activities carried out under this question will help to reduce corruption in the public sector. Various activities for promoting transparency, accountability, public participation and right to information are being conducted under this work. Bas Nepal, which has been advocating for good governance through popular and pressure-based programs against corruption, is working through various mechanisms of social accountability (public hearings, social trials, right to public trial information, community scorecards, exit polls, citizen satisfaction surveys, citizen grievance mechanisms). This organization does the institutional development and implementation of various mechanisms of social accountability. BAS has run a Good Governance Information and Resource Center at the Central Office. Recently, BAS has been developing as a resource development organization. It has library, meeting room. There are also fortnightly debates on various contemporary issues in the resource center.
